Richiedi la Lingua Veneta a FaceBook, in TRE SEMPLICI PASSI:

1. clicca su questo link, e si aprirà la pagina dove inserire la richiesta.

2a. nel primo campo vuoto, inserisci la seguente riga testo:

STATUS: Venetian is spoken as a mother tongue by 8mln people in the World (5mln in North-Eastern Italy, other 3mln people in Slovenia, Croatia, Mexico and Brazil). Other million people understand Venetian as language of their parents and/or grandparents also in Australia, Canada, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, France, Belgium.
PAST: It used to be official language of the Republic of Venice: it was mother tongue to Marco Polo, Palladio, Titian, Canova, Canaletto, Casanova, Vivaldi and dozens of others. Venetian language gave important words to the international lexicon: ciao, gazette, arsenal, cello, ballot, and several others.
RECENT TIMES: Nowadays it is recognized by Brazil as co-official language and it is recognized as a language by UNESCO and several universities and scholars. Venetian is mother tongue to the soprano Katia Ricciarelli, the swimmer Federica Pellegrini, architect Carlo Scarpa, the enterpreneur Giovanni Rana, the Benetton family, the enterpreneur Renzo Rosso and the inventor of the first microchip Federico Faggin, among many other famous and important people in the world.
LOCALIZATION TEAM: “Academia de ła Bona Creansa – Academia de ła Łengua Veneta” is a private institution caring the Venetian Language. It created a Venetian localization team which has recently translated the whole LibreOffice suit. The Academia has produced the international standard of the modern Venetian Language (used by the Veneto Region) with the elaboration of the first academic handbook completely written in modern Venetian language, with the scientific and institutional patronage of the University of Frankfurt. The Academia currently teaches the language in private courses and it several occasions of teaching in public schools (in Italy and in Croatia) and uses it for scientific publications, kids’ books, commercial translations, localization of ICT products, etc.
EVENT: FaceBook in Venetian language could be presented to the world next February, during the 1st International Convention on the Venetian Language which will be held with the scientific contribution of 12 professors in diverse fields of linguistics, coming from different European Universities (London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Venice, Padua, Barcelona, Bangor, StAndrews, Split, Koper) and from UNESCO (prof. Moseley, author of the Atlas of World Languages will be present).
